of course you are correct about this. Measles doesn't spring up on its own..it requires an infected carrier to bring it into a healthy population.

 

MEASLES almost was eradicated in the US, and then it would have been safe to stop vaccinating. But if you let in infected person, they will spread it to the unvaccinated. unvaccinated people do not generate the disease, they ONLY CATCH IT from someone else.

 

Not to mention Merck's current batch of measles vaccine expires at the end of this month.
