Yes, it’s not really called a ”Pepecyte”. That’s why I put it in quotations. The cell is really called a myelocyte and it matures into a neutrophil. Most myelocytes don’t look like Pepe. The nucleus is usually circular. When it matures, it starts to indent. This myelocyte happened to look like Pepe so I took a pic b/c it’s awesome. The “Qcyte” is really an immature neutrophil, whose job is indeed to have a short lived life fighting off infection. Most don’t look like a Q, but again, sometimes they can (they can make all sorts of shapes). Don’t ruin my fun. These are real cells that just happen to have awesome shapes. (Took the pics myself). That’s why I called it “Patriot Blood”.
