Symbolism is important because "it" can't violate our free will
Therefore, we are wooed and seduced with symbolism, and everything that could protect and guide us undermined, all to make US choose our enslavement.
These are crazy things to ponder as real, and yet it is what is happening, and we need to wake up and fight.
Symbolic control of "virtual spaces" like this is, I believe, very important.
