Difference is the lack of malice. Medfag too and gangrenous limbs, RTAs or traumas (incl. kids), end stage CA - can be cruel in their own way, but in an accidental way. This stuff? Yeah, it’s the intent that’s chilling - evil / malicious. I don’t think I’ve ever met a true sociopath and hope to God I never do.
