For the first time in many years, I feel a surge of hope for my beloved and beleaguered country. From the very beginning, I felt that God had a direct hand in the election of POTUS - our best and probably final chance for redemption. I'm a commissioner in a small, rural county in the heartland. One year into my first term. I've been amazed to find a microcosm of what POTUS faces - institutionalized corruption, extreme waste and a media that no longer recognizes their responsibility and cares nothing for the truth. Disheartening. But every day I get up, I pray, and I go out and fight it all again, just as I pray for our POTUS, our nation, and our future.
Q, I hope you understand the level of hope and faith that you and your colleagues are inspiring in us.
