TL;DR

One or two weeks

This is how slow lawyers are. Well, they're lawyers because they'd never survive in the private sector, same as government employees.

Covered something very similar in June 2018. FBI regulations would not allow tasking of Halper overseas as an FBI CHS

And next question. Do they retain and are they required to retain FISA requests that are denied?

If prior FISA apps had existed for Page at any time (approved or no) it would have been disclosed in the 10/21/16 app by law: 50 U.S. Code § 1804 (a)(8). The fact no FISA history is cited by either Nunes or Schiff memos also strongly corroborate that no prior FISA in fact exists.

One of the articles notes that warrant was for Papadop-not Page. Agree that, if there was a denied FISA, it was hidden. I think the timeline is what will finally trip them up. When they need the NYT to set an "official" timeline for CH, you gotta wonder about everything they say.
