Realistically, I have to believe that Kim Jong Un is pretty evil. His people are starving. He has trained & encouraged inhumane slave labor & God knows what else on his people. That being said, the best we can hope for is to eliminate the threat of nuclear war with him. Only time will tell if he plans to treat his people any better. We will see. All that has been addressed is his nuclear shenanigans, not any humanitarian issues.

He was tortured to death, in a nutshell, anon. Who did it? I'm sure it was not Kim Jong Un personally, but it certainly does appear to be "his regime" that did it. I'm also sure that Kim knew about it too. We will never be able to prove anything, and the best we can hope for is for NK to denuclearize, thus removing a very real & present threat.

That's great anon, keep praying for that. We can't rule anything out at this point. As for me, I will just pray that things in all areas will get better for the people of NK & that KJU makes some changes for the better, no matter what his past actions may have been.

I agree that KJU is pretty much a ruthless dictator. He's coming to talks to save his own ass & to remain leader of his country. Now, if things get better for the people of NK that would be great, but I don't have any illusions about him changing much. NK is only addressing the denuclearization aspect, not the humanitarian aspect.
