Dems did the same thing in the 1960s
They went into the rural south and transplanted minorities into Northern cities in Republican neighborhoods.
They lured minotities into Northern cities by telling them that they would not be discriminated against, promised them jobs and welfare.
Republicans were forced out of their neighborhoods into the suburbs. Prior to 1960, Chicago south side neighborhoods used to be safe middle class. Now the south side of Chicago is so crime ridden even the police won't go there.
