Not a digger, not an autist, but I stumbled onto this researching something totally unrelated. Don’t want to say what because I don’t’ want to partially doxx myself. For any true digger, there’s got to be a wealth of connections in the college admissions scandal. 5 minutes of looking into it and I found a connection between one of the indicted and NP.

Oregon winery owner charged in college admissions scandal

Agustin Huneeus Jr., whose family's company owns Benton-Lane Winery

Huneeus, 53, is the son of Chilean-born Agustin Huneeus Sr., who built Concha y Toro in his native country and Franciscan Estates in Napa Valley, among many wine ventures. The family’s Napa-based Huneeus Vintners LLC now owns several California brands, including Quintessa, which makes a Napa Valley Cabernet that sells for $175 a bottle.

They allege that Huneeus paid $50,000 to individuals who helped arrange for his daughter to take the SAT over several days under their supervision, provided assistance as she took the SAT exam, “and corrected her answers after she completed it.” The daughter got a 1,380 score out of 1,600 possible points.

The court filing says Huneeus complained about the score, but the cooperating witness involved in the scheme told him the 1,550 score Huneeus envisioned "would have got investigated for sure based on her grades."

The Huneeus family has made seven contributions to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco), totaling $18,300, and $10,000 to Pelosi’s political action committee, PAC to the Future.
