My nephew urged me to watch a movie he thought was really interesting. The trailer looked weird so I delayed watching it. Yesterday, I finally sat down to watch "Bad Times at the El Royale". it was written and directed by Drew Goddard.
After the first 5 to 10 minutes, I was sucked in. I won't give the film away, but as it goes on, that phrase, 'art imitates life' came to mind. We know there is some evil stuff taking place in Hollywood, our nation, and around the world. There were bits and pieces of truth scattered throughout that film.
Towards the end, there is something so wonderful and beautiful that takes place. It brought me to tears because I often wonder if many who are lost will repent and seek forgiveness from the Almighty. Don't think this movie would make many in Hollywood, D.C., the cabal would feel comfortable because it does hit home in several ways. Well, at least that's what I got from it. My nephew and sister felt the same way after watching the film.
I'm going to recommend everyone watch the film. This is not a kid movie though.
There is just something about it which makes me hope the writer/director is trying to get the message out of what we already know and suspect … maybe even at the Standard Hotel.
Have a blessed day, Patriots!
