Suppose that Karma is REAL.

Not only is it real, but it operates on a cosmic/eternal scale.

How long has this evil we are finding been in existence? 1,ooo yrs, 100,ooo yrs, 10 million years, longer?

Now, consider how many persons have committed these atrocities (on innocents) over than span of time?

Could it not be possible that today's victims suffering these atrocities are in reality yester-years' perpetrators paying their Karmic debt?

Everything must balance. Anybody paying attention to such possibilities can see it every day, not only in their lives, but in the lives of those around them.

I hope this scenario allows you to view the whole mess in different light that may be more palatable.
