The DOJ always slow rolls the release of information to Congress or under FOIA when there are live investigations underway. It might slow roll for other reasons too, but in this instance my money is on there being a considerable number of active investigations being handled by reliable Federal prosecutors around the country, far from the cesspit of DC. And there have been no leaks, which shows what Sessions likely achieved in the background. We’ll only know for certain once prosecutions are initiated and indictments are laid or unsealed.
