Why is the MSM so distraught with the Barr Report?

On the surface, it is because Trump is further from impeachment than he was before the report. Now it looks like he will not only stay another two years, but may actually be President for six more years.

But, I will tell you it is more deeper than that.

Daily, in the 4am briefings, they have been told that Trump colluded with Russia. The evidence is obvious for all to see if they just open their eyes. His closest associates were indicted, albeit not for collusion (or conspiracy, the real legal name). But, Russians were indicted for conspiracy to interfere in the 2016 election. It was a matter of time before Corsi, Stone, etc would be indicted for conspiracy to interfere with the 2016 election and be tied to Trump. Alas, it did not happen.

But, obstruction. Surely with all Trump very visible tweets saying the Mueller Investigation was a “Witch Hunt”, slamming “Fake News”, and my God firing Comey after EVERY liberal, socialist, Democrat wanted him fired just before the election, Mueller would find that Trump obstructed justice. Afterall, that is what their 4am daily briefing told them.

Surely, Trump did not win fair and square. Hillary was the chosen one, the successor to the original Chosen One, his majesty, Obama. Trump is not doing what Obama did so he must surely be illegitimate. He is reversing, daily, the Chosen One’s policies. He must be impeached. Mueller will make it easy.

I have said it a few times. Did you catch it? The MSM has begun to rely, fully, completely, whole-heartedly on the 4am briefings. They do not know how to go out and get the news anymore. For eight years, it was brought to them, by leaks, by giving gifts to the DOJ and FBI, by traitors, and the like.

What they realized with the Mueller Report is their easy days are over. They must now research for news. They must now work, hard in fact, for scoops. The leaks they thought were still coming easy for them were fake, Fake News in fact. When they reported it, they were reporting Fake News.

Donald Trump was proved right. Dammit. The stupid guy in the White House had bested them, AGAIN. And not only that, what they had been reporting for two years was, in fact, Fake News.

They will be similarly disappointed when the full Mueller Report comes out. Because it may have this juicy nugget or that juicy nugget, but the fact is Robert Mueller did not find any collusion or conspiracy. He wondered about obstruction, but left it up to the AG who has already made his decision crystal clear – no obstruction.

They will get their hopes up. The House may very well impeach. The House can impeach a sitting president for ANYTHING. But the trial in the Senate is based off of law and normal jurisprudence. No sitting President has EVER been removed from office. No sitting President will ever be unless there is lock solid proof of high crimes.

Donald Trump may be many things, but he has not, and I suspect will not, engage in any high crimes. But he will continue to erase the Chosen One’s legacy. He will probably be elected for another four years given his robust economy. He will most likely change the courts, especially the high court, for a generation. Just as importantly, a young generation of people will also be changed. They saw what over-regulation and government interference did (Carter/Obama), but many have not seen what deregulation and free markets do (Reagan/Trump).

But most importantly, checks will be put in so NO future President or Presidential Candidate is put through the same BS he was put through. He will guarantee that.
