"BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Police in Colombia's second-largest city have arrested a California man for allegedly offering cash over Facebook to girls as young as 13 in exchange for sexual acts.

According to investigators, Renno allegedly used three Facebook profiles under the names Tom Renno, Tom Rene and Tom Reinolds to contact girls and offer them up to $100 to accede to his propositions. He also used the social network to share explicit photos and pornographic material. Investigators say his victims were between the ages of 13 and 17."

"A Catholic priest in Fremont has been arrested on suspicion of 30 counts of child sex abuse, officials said.

David Mendoza-Vela, 42, who was the head pastor at Corpus Christi Church in Fremont, was arrested Thursday evening, and was later booked into Santa Rita Jail early Friday morning, according to county records."
