We'll see. I think the optimism is misplaced. No way Mueller or anybody on his team would tolerate going after their own protected groups. Not saying some other group, insulated from Mueller, wasn't looking, only that team Mueller wasn't.

This is 400 pages of anal probe of Trump and people in his orbit, a 400 page fishing expedition that came up empty.

Ummmm

1! = 1

2! = 2

3! = 6

4! = 24

5! = 120

6! = 720

7! = 5,040

8! = 40,320

9! = 362,880

What the clock shows is not a factorial (the bang!), but powers and roots. the 9th root of 9 to the 9th power is 9. The 9th root of 2 to the 9th power is 2. "power/root" are inverse operations, like "multiply/divide" by any random same number yields the starting point.

I think RR, Mueller and co were allowed some space to play. This way, their energy would be in a known location, and other coup players would either work with team Mueller, or lay back, believing team Mueller had it covered. It's good to corral your enemy even as they are plotting against you. At least you know where they are.

The downside was that Trump could not go on offense as long as team Mueller was in place.

I will be genuinely shocked if team Mueller is part of the Trump offense. Weisenberg working for Trump? As likely as MSNBC or CNN working for Trump.

We'll know in a couple weeks which side Mueller is playing. I've staked my ground.

Mueller drags it out, because as long as team Mueller is in place, Trump cannot go on offense. The fact that Mueller knew the accusation was bogus doesn't change the mission from "get Trump" to "get Trump's opponents." Mueller abused his authority as far as he dared, and all of that to get Trump.

Yep. The detailed scope memo is a window into what Meuller had targeted, and all of that is in Trump orbit. Roesnstein had to prepare the detailed scope memo because Manafort challenged Mueller jurisdiction using the public grant of authority to Mueller. RR rubberstamped what Mueller had cooking. The redacted parts were cases not yet indicted, and there are only what, four or five of those?

Compared with many other Congresscritters, AOC is not "low IQ." She's right in the thick of 'em. Not a shocker that she's clueless on history and fundamental principles of government, basics of operation of US government. The majority of the public is ignorant of that stuff, being kept in the dark by complicit edu and press systems.

Some DEM operator on FoxNews pointed out that getting into Congress is a way to riches, as AOC is a "rags to riches" story.

If Mueller abused his authority, that deserves to be called out just as Nifong was called out. has nothing to do with revenge or retaliation.

That said, the worse Meuller acted โ€“without crossing the lineโ€“ the louder the DEM/press will accuse Trump of retaliation and revenge. Doesn't make the press correct, I'm just saying that Mueller running for a long (unjustified) time does not inoculate Trump from yet another false accusation.

The benefit to Trump is that some people will swing his way politically because he allowed an open investigation that resulted in no finding of even untoward conduct (even though some will persist, forever, that Trump is hiding bad stuff).

The DEM party reaction is predictable. They will say they just looked int he wrong place, so need to continue baseless investigations until something is found.

POTUS might have met him to size him up as an adversary, to tell him "thanks for your service," or if he knew RR was going to appoint SC, to tell him the same thing he told Comey, do a thorough job, I'll stay out of your hair.

All that works to his benefit without enlisting Mueller to run a sting against the DEMs.
