Nice! Anons, this is a huge deal. Algerians have had this guy as president for decades, and for a few years, he hasn’t even been able to walk or talk. It’s generally believed that the military runs the country and the president is just a facade, but this is a huge step in the right direction.
Most miraculously, this has been a peaceful protest of millions, in a country that, in the nineties, was in a brutal civil war for a decade over the results of an election.
