As we're watching the hollywood types having hissy fits about Georgia's heartbeat bill and threatening to boycott the state, I'm reminded of this.

Hollywood has worked their way into federal regulations. They have "exceptions" built into rules specifically for them.

This example deals with Hours of Service rules for drivers.

Most on this list make sense. Agriculture (farms), Oil Fields, Emergencies, stuck in a blizzard.

But there are a few that you can easily see are "special interests", like Motion picture production sites.
