Has anybody mentioned Italy? I just read in /k/ that they've passed a law allowing self defense within the home, or your business, with any legitimately held weapon (IE if you're allowed to have a gun, you're allowed to defend against burglars with that gun)

 

Other folks in that thread said it's not so big of a legal change, as concealed-carry licenses are still really tightly regulated, as in you have to demonstrate you're a target of the mafia, or some other life-threatening circumstance.

Okay so this reply is not for the faint of heart, but: Gentoo.Or funtoo, or I think there's a couple other derivatives.

 

Using USE flags, to whit "USE=-systemd" (or something like that; read the docs when you install) you can build (compile! Everything from source using flags and includes you specify) your OS with noticeably less effort than a full-on Linux-From-Scratch install, and ''COMPLETELY AVOID'' systemd.
