Treason is death, so the outcome would be the same even if convicted on the rest.
I have no dog in this fight, the theory is compelling.
I think "fall guy" is him self pittying, as if he doesnt deserve it.
They would have to do something for him/family? Otherwise I would run it out in court, because the outcome is the same anyway or maybe get off on a tech
