Please send prayers to the family of my close friend who was laid to rest this morning.

He was a SFC for the US Army, a 9/11 first responder, and recipient of a silver star. He passed away in March from a long-fought battle with cancer. The love and appreciation he showed for his country and for all people is unmatched by anyone I've ever had the privilege of knowing.

He fought till the end, never gave up on me, his country, and his faith that America was going to be restored was strong and lives in through those his life touched.
