Catholics see this evil quite well. (the ones that do more than go to church and send their kids to catholic school)
They are in a pretty big fight inside that empire right now. (as they have been many times in history because the church is always a target of the globalists)
There was a time when the papacy was given back and forth between kingdoms.
They will fight, and free what they can of the good people of the church.

You dont want to destroy the global person to person infrastructure. WAY too many really good people very well networked. Too many places where real people on the ground can act against the globalists at the top. Too many buildings and local networks that would come in handy at the local levels if SHTF in the cities, and people need buildings and communication networks, or emergency food.
