The Agency

From a nondescript office building in St. Petersburg, Russia, an army of well-paid “trolls” has tried to wreak havoc all around the Internet — and in real-life American communities.

Who was behind all of this? When I stumbled on it last fall, I had an idea. I was already investigating a shadowy organization in St. Petersburg, Russia, that spreads false information on the Internet. It has gone by a few names, but I will refer to it by its best known: the Internet Research Agency. The agency had become known for employing hundreds of Russians to post pro-Kremlin propaganda online under fake identities, including on Twitter, in order to create the illusion of a massive army of supporters; it has often been called a “troll farm.”

Note the date of this article, June 2, 2015. The author says he “stumbled on it last fall”, that would be September/October 2014.

The name of this “Agency”?

Internet Research Agency

Sound familiar?

This is the same secretive “Agency” SC Mueller indicted on February 16, 2018, almost 3 years after this article and EVERYBODY was buzzing about how this agency was Pro-Trump/Anti-Clinton and saying Trump was surely colluding with them to interfere with the 2016 election.

Go to the article. A lot of interesting stuff. Search for Trump. Not a mention. Why? Because Trump did not announce his candidacy until 14 days after this article. Yet, the IRA had been sowing discord since 2014 and nobody took an interest.

So, why did Mueller finally indict them in February 2018?
