Chinese woman held for illegally entering Mar-a-Lago, lying to agents

Fort Lauderdale: A woman carrying two Chinese passports and a device containing computer malware lied to Secret Service agents and briefly gained admission to President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club over the weekend during his Florida visit, federal prosecutors allege in court documents.

Yujing Zhang, 32, approached a Secret Service agent at a checkpoint outside the Palm Beach club early on Saturday afternoon and said she was a member who wanted to use the pool, court documents said. She showed the passports as identification.

Agents say she wasn't on the membership list, but a club manager thought Zhang was the daughter of a member.

Agents say that when they asked Zhang if the member was her father, she did not answer definitively but they thought it might be a language barrier and admitted her.

Zhang's story changed when she got inside, agents say, telling a front desk receptionist she was there to attend the United Nations Chinese American Association event scheduled for that evening. No such event was scheduled and agents were summoned.

Agent Samuel Ivanovich wrote in court documents that Zhang told him that she was there for the Chinese American event and had come early to familiarise herself with the club and take photos, again contradicting what she had said at the checkpoint. She showed him an invitation in Chinese that he could not read.

He said Zhang was taken off the grounds and told she could not be there. Ivanovich said she became argumentative, so she was taken to the local Secret Service office for questioning.

There, he said, it became clear Zhang speaks and reads English well. He said Zhang said she had travelled from Shanghai to attend the non-existent Mar-a-Lago event on the invitation of an acquaintance named "Charles," whom she only knew through a Chinese social media app.

Ivanovich said she then denied telling the checkpoint agents she was a member wanting to swim.

Ivanovich said Zhang carried four mobile phones, a laptop computer, an external hard drive and a thumb drive containing computer malware. She did not have a swimsuit.

Zhang is charged with making false statements to federal agents and illegally entering a restricted area. She remains in custody pending a hearing next week. Her public defender, Robert Adler, declined comment.

There is no indication Zhang was ever near the president. There is also no indication that she is connected to Li Yang, a Chinese native, Republican donor and former Florida massage parlor owner.

Trump stands by border closure threat, as aides say all options being explored

President Trump on Tuesday stood by his threat to close the southern border, as his aides said that it is one of a number of options being explored to tackle the growing crisis there.

“I’m ready to close it if I have to close it,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office as he sat alongside NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

On Friday, Trump threatened to close the border “next week” if Mexico doesn’t stop the flows of illegal immigration into the U.S. He also repeated his demand that Democrats in Congress agree to toughen immigration laws.

That threat came after new numbers showed that more than 76,000 migrants were detained in February – the highest number of apprehensions in 12 years. Meanwhile, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said that the border was at its “breaking point.”

Trump stood by his threat Tuesday and while he said that Mexico had "made a big difference" and had increased its efforts to stop Central Americans from traveling north, he warned he was still open to closing the border.

"If we don't make a deal with Congress…or if Mexico doesn't do what they should be doing…then we're going to close the border, that's going to be it, or we're going to close large sections of the border, maybe not all of it," he said.

"We're going to have a strong border or we're going to have a closed border," he said. "We're going to see what happens."

He also brushed off concerns about what effect shutting down the border would have on the economy, saying that national security was a more important consideration: “Security is more important to me than trade."

Earlier, White House aides had indicated that closing the border was one of a number of options being considered as a way to deal with the situation there. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday that Trump was not keen on shuttering the border, but blamed alleged inaction from Democrats in Congress, saying it could force his hand.

"Democrats in Congress are leaving us no choice. They're unwilling to work with us to fix this problem because they're too busy playing politics to do their jobs," she said.

White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said on MSNBC that the White House was considering a number of options short of closing the border, such as shutting down certain entry ports or parts of all of them.

"Everything is on the table," he said.

Homeland Security officials said that, even though the border has not been shut down, there have been mounting delays at ports of entry as some 2,000 border officers have been reassigned to deal with incoming migrants. Average wait times at Brownsville, Texas, were 180 minutes Monday, twice the length of peak times last year.

An “I’m sorry to have bothered you,” won’t cut it. These breathless media leaks, and the complicity of the liberal media in featuring them, were designed first to defeat, then to discredit, and, finally, to impeach the president.

The Trump presidency was not allowed a proper birth as phony, doctored, fabricated and false charges of collusion with Russia dogged its opening months and years. Trump has had to run the country while under a false cloud from day one.

The damage to his credibility and presidency are incalculable.

Now that the allegations have been disproven, it is time, metaphorically (you need to add that these days) to shoot the alligators.

They are still on patrol in the swamp, passing out disinformation and lies masquerading as intelligence. The partisans at the CIA, DOJ and FBI who framed Trump need to be investigated, subpoenaed, deposed and, if necessary, indicted.

The conspiracy to frame Trump began deep in the bowels of the offices of Hillary’s secret police, the detectives who silence critics and slander women to protect the reputations of the Clintons. Determined to craft a narrative that would discredit Trump, they hired Fusion GPS to help concoct a dossier filled with false and lurid tales of collusion.

We now know that the dossier was largely written by Nellie Ohr and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS. Nellie, of course, is also the wife of Bruce Ohr, the number four person at the Justice Department.

To lend their fantasies credibility, they paid former British spy Christopher Steele to slap his name — and reputation — on the dossier and, armed with that credibility, induced Sen. John McCain to have his staff give the dossier to the FBI.

There, in the overtly partisan hands of Director of Counterintelligence Andrew McCabe and his aides Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the dossier became an “insurance” policy in the unlikely event that Trump got elected.

Then, media leaks did the rest, seeming to implicate the president in the most unholy of conspiracies to collaborate with Russia to subvert our election.

Woman carrying two Chinese passports, malware charged with illegally entering Mar-a-Lago

Federal prosecutors have charged a woman with illegally entering President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida with two Chinese passports, four cellphones and a device containing malware, according to court documents.

Prosecutors say in court filings that Yujing Zhang showed the passports to identify herself to a Secret Service agent over the weekend, saying she was a member and wanted to use the pool.

Agents asked Zhang, who was not on the club’s membership list, whether a member of the club with the same surname was her father. She did not give a straight answer, but agents admitted her, thinking she had trouble speaking English.

Once Zhang was inside, she told a receptionist she was there for a meeting of the United Nations Chinese American Association. The event she described did not exist, and the receptionist summoned more Secret Service agents, telling them Zhang was not authorized to be there.

Zhang was then reportedly taken to the local Secret Service office, at which point questioning made clear she spoke and read English. She again told agents she was there for an event, now saying she had arrived at the club early to familiarize herself with the facility and take pictures.

The documents she claimed was her invitation to the event was in Chinese, but the Secret Service noted that regardless, no such event was scheduled and she had earlier claimed she was there to swim. She was carrying four cellphones, a laptop, an external hard drive and a thumb drive containing malware, but no swimsuit.

Zhang has been charged with making false statements to federal agents and illegally entering a restricted area, according to the documents.

Trump, who often visits the Palm Beach club, was present during the incident but Zhang never made contact with her.

Alyssa Milano's 'I believe' Kavanaugh accuser becomes 'we can't assume' Biden guilt

Milano, 46, is a staunch #MeToo activist who last year attended the Senate hearing on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in support of his accuser Christine Blasey Ford. She said she opposed his nomination because of unsubstantiated accusations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Ford in high school. She live-tweeted from inside the proceeding, letting her three million-plus followers know: "I believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford."

This time, with Biden facing an accusation from Nevada politician Lucy Flores, Milano was more equivocal. “I respect Lucy Flores' decision to share her story and agree with Biden that we all must pay attention to it. But, just as we must believe women that decide to come forward, we cannot assume all women's experiences are the same,” she said in a string of tweets.

“I am proud to call Joe Biden a friend. He has been a leader and a champion on fighting violence against women for many years, and I have been fortunate to accompany him to events with survivors where he has listened to their stories, empathized with them, and comforted them,” she wrote “… I believe that Joe Biden's intent has never been to make anyone uncomfortable, and that his kind, empathetic leadership is what our country needs.”

She wrote an op-ed for CNN last year that began with, “If professor Christine Blasey Ford is to be believed, and I believe she is, Brett Kavanaugh is a sexual predator.”

Biden, 76, was accused last week of planting a “big slow kiss” on the back of Flores’ head without her permission during a rally in 2014. On Monday a second accuser came forward and alleged that Biden touched her inappropriately at fundraiser in 2009.

The former vice president is widely expected to launch a bid for the Democratic nomination for president soon.

U.S. Attorney John Huber Investigating 6,000 Pages of Clinton Foundation Whistle-Blower Evidence!

U.S. Attorney John Huber has been overseeing a Justice Department investigation into the Clinton Foundation and is currently pouring over 6,000 pages of evidence. These pages of documents are attached to a whistle-blower submission filed secretly more than a year ago with the IRS and FBI. Of main concern are “quid pro quo” promises made to donors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of State.

John Huber is the special U.S attorney named over a year ago to investigate all things Clinton.

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C revealed that three people have come forward with the evidence. Also included in potential wrongdoing by the Clinton Foundation is misappropriation of funds.

Tax documents have shown that donations to the Clinton Foundation plunged immediately after Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. The filings showed that the foundation took in $26.6 million in 2017, a 58 percent drop from the $62.9 million it received the previous year.

Meadows said that the donation drop “raises grave concerns their operations were not above board as the American people have been led to believe.

“Whenever we look at the possibility of ‘pay to play’ by government officials, current or former, it demands answers,” Meadows added, “and anyone who uses public office to sell access for their own financial benefit must be held accountable.”

Also at play in the Huber investigation is an interview investigators conducted with Andrew Kessel that quotes the foundation’s longtime chief financial officer as saying he was unable to stop former President Clinton from “commingling” personal business and charitable activities inside the foundation and that he “knows where all the bodies are buried.”

The evidence was assembled by a private firm called MDA Analytics LLC, run by accomplished ex-federal criminal investigators.

“There is probable cause that the Clinton Foundation has run afoul of IRS rules regarding tax-exempt charitable organizations and has acted inconsistently with its stated purpose,” MDA Analytics alleged in its submission. “The Foundation should be investigated for all of the above-mentioned improprieties. The tax rules, codes, statutes and the rule of law should and must be applied in this case.”

Current and former Clinton Foundation sources confirm that CFO Kessel met with MDA investigators in late 2016 and subsequently was interviewed by FBI agents in 2017. But they insist he did not implicate former President Clinton or the foundation in any illegality.

They also acknowledge that the internal reviews cited in the submission were authentic and did in fact flag issues that the foundation has tried to address, including major governance changes made public in 2013.

“The Clinton Foundation has been one of the most heavily scrutinized charitable organizations in the world, and subjected to outrageous, politically motivated allegations that have been proven false time and time again,” the foundation said in a statement.

“Critics continue to resurrect these false claims to try to damage the reputation of the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation. The fact is, the Clinton Foundation has demonstrably improved the lives of millions of people across America and around the world, while earning top ratings from charity watchdog groups in the process.”

There are multiple investigations going on in concerning the Obama investigation. Congressman Mark Meadows just dropped a bombshell last this week and revealed to Fox News’ Sean Hannity that “sitting ambassadors” were involved in the DOJ/FBI take-down of President Trump.

“The truth is, immigrants seeking refuge in our country aren’t a threat to national security. Migration shouldn’t be a criminal justice issue. It’s time to end this draconian policy and return to treating immigration as a civil – not a criminal – issue,” he said.

Castro, who has made his opposition to President Trump’s immigration policies a cornerstone of his campaign, published his proposal on Medium, which he says is a call for a policy that “puts people first.”

While that phrase is common among the Democratic field, Castro is one of the first to put meat on the bone and flesh out his vision for an immigration policy. In it, he said he would reverse the travel ban on migration from certain countries, cuts in refugee numbers and what he calls “wasteful spending on a pointless wall.”

He also joined fellow Democrats in calling for a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants living in the country “peacefully” as well as protections from deportations for illegal immigrants brought to the country illegally as children.

In terms of enforcement, he calls for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be cut in half, keeping the anti-trafficking and anti-terrorism investigations, while reassigning immigration enforcement to other agencies. This taps into a growing push by Democrats since last year for the agency to be abolished.

The proposal comes as the Trump administration declares a crisis on the border, with historic levels of crossings overwhelming the system. Last week, the State Department said it would cut direct aid to Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, where much of the migration flows originate. Castro, though, said that such a move would only make the problem worse.

Instead, he called for a “21st century Marshall Plan for Central America,” referring to the post-war economic assistance plan that pumped billions into Europe.

“Making investments in our southern neighbors boost U.S. economic growth, strengthens global relationships and helps ensure that all people can find the safety and stability they seek in their home countries,” the post says.

Castro is likely to return to the topic of immigration later this month when he is scheduled to hold a rally in his hometown of San Antonio at the same time Trump is expected to appear in Texas for fundraising events.

His plan is an indicator of not only how important immigration will be as a topic in the 2020 Democratic primary race, but also how the party is swinging further to the left on the issue.

In addition to calls to abolish ICE, a number of Democrats – such as former Rep. Beto O’Rourke – have even called for existing barriers at the border to be torn down.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., as part of her call for “comprehensive immigration reform,” suggested that she wants to expand Social Security to those in the country illegally.

"First, we need comprehensive immigration reform," she said last month in Iowa. "If you are in this country now you must have the right to pay into Social Security, to pay your taxes, to pay into the local school system and to have a pathway to citizenship. That must happen."
