Liberal ‘Dictator’ Trudeau Expels Own Party Members Over Whistleblowing
Canadian Prime Minister and Liberal sweetheart Justin Trudeau has reacted to allegations by his own party members of him blocking an investigation into an engineering firm by …. kicking them both out of his own party.
Although both Ms Jody Wilson-Raybould and Ms Jane Philpott had already resigned from his cabinet citing their concerns over the SNC-Lavalin affair, they have now both been expelled from Mr Trudeau’s Liberal Party, six months before a general election in October.
As the SNC-Lavalin controversy has cast a shadow over Mr Trudeau’s leadership, the Conservative opposition party is now in the lead.
Mr Andrew Scheer, leader of the opposition Conservatives, claimed that the prime minister was stopping justice by removing the two corruption whistleblowers. In a tweet, he stated that ‘if you tell the truth, there is no place for you in the Canadian Liberal Party.’
Mr Trudeau in turn explained their dismissal by stating : “the trust that previously existed between these two individuals and our team has been broken,”
“If they can’t honestly say they have confidence in this team… then they cannot be part of this team.”

Incredible Malaysian Water Tornado Dwarfs Skyscrapers (Video)
A massive water tornado was filmed dwarfing the various high-rise buildings in Malaysia as it gets closer to the edge of the city.
Some 50 houses in the Tenjung Tokong suburb of the city of George Town on Penang Island were damaged after the swirling waterspout ripped over the land.
75-year-old local resident Ms Nona Khalid said : “the sound of the wind was deafening and I saw part of the roof of my house being flown away by the wind..indeed it was very scary and took place for the first time in the 50 years I have been staying here.”
The Penang Civil Defence Force spokesman said that “until to date, no loss of life or injury is reported in the 15-minute storm. We are currently busy clearing the debris from houses which were ripped off by the storm.”

Tourists Forced To Escape Tsunami Wave When Massive Iceland Glacier Collapses (Video)
A wonderful natural spectacle was caught on camera this Sunday when a massive glacier collapsed in an Iceland lagoon, leaving the startled tourists to run frantically as a major tsunami wave was formed.
Captured in on the edge of the Jökulsárlón lagoon, part of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier can be seen falling into the water creating a series of waves that come towards tourists on the shore.
As the visitors flee in shock the lagoon is subsequently riddled with huge, rolling waves that approach the rocks on the shore which sent watching tourists scurrying away from the incoming water.
The filmer said: “This area is only accessible with mountain guides and everybody shown in the video had been previously instructed to immediately leave the beach if a calving occurs.
“Due to the sheer size and proximity it was a bit of a close call but everybody was safe and stayed dry.”

Omar Felt More Accepted in Kenyan Refugee Camp Than in U.S.
The notorious freshman member of the U.S. House of Representatives plays the victim card.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), the controversial freshman member of the U.S. House of Representatives who has a habit of indulging in anti-Semitic stereotypes, complains about feeling marginalized in a land of white privilege. In an interview with Vogue Arabia, Rep. Omar, a refugee originally from Somalia who became a U.S. citizen nearly 20 years ago, waxed nostalgic about her days in a Kenyan refugee camp. She spent four years there as a child before resettling in the United States. At the refugee camp, Omar said, she could express her full identity. She felt free to be herself, living amongst like-minded people who looked and believed as she did. “When you’re a kid and you’re raised in an all-black, all- Muslim environment, nobody really talks to you about your identity,” Omar said. “You just are. There is freedom in knowing that you are accepted as your full self. So the notion that there is a conflict with your identity in society was hard at the age of 12.”
Omar is a perfect example of the entitled individual always willing to play the victim card. She and her family had been living in what one Somalian inhabitant of a refugee camp in Kenya called an "open prison." It was too dangerous for Omar and her family to return to war-torn Somalia. At the same time, Kenya, Omar’s host country as a child, had no interest in integrating Somalian refugees like herself into Kenyan society. It was the United States that rescued Omar from the desperate conditions and hopelessness she was facing in her refugee camp. It was the United States that allowed her family to seek asylum to live in the United States. Her family eventually moved to Minneapolis and lived amongst a large Somali-American population.
After Omar was elected to serve in the United States Congress at the relatively young age of 37, she ran into the civil rights icon Representative John Lewis (D-Georgia). She gushed, according to her own account of the encounter, “Sir, I read about you in middle school, and you’re here in the flesh, and I get to be your colleague. There are moments — every single minute — that I’ve been here where I almost want to pinch myself.” Omar’s request for a seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee was granted. She has retained the seat despite her repeated anti-Semitic outbursts.
In short, Omar is anything but marginalized. To the contrary, America laid out a welcome mat for her, which it had no legal or moral obligation to do. She rose to become a full-fledged member of the American “People’s House,” as the House of Representatives is sometimes called. Omar should be grateful for the opportunities afforded her since she arrived in the United States. Instead, she acts like a spiteful child.

House Democrats Want ‘Oversight’ over Fox News’ Editorial Decisions
Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are demanding to know why Fox News did not publish a story prior to the 2016 election about an alleged affair years before between porn star Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump.
House Committee on Oversight and Reform chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote to former Fox News reporter Diana Falzone last month demanding that she turn over any documents relating to Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.
An article in the New Yorker last month alleged that Fox News executive Ken LaCorte spiked the story to protect Trump — a claim LaCorte has vehemently denied, saying the story lacked corroborating evidence and that the network was merely practicing responsible journalism, as were other outlets who declined the story.
That article seems to have motivated Cummings’s letter — a letter that not only seeks personal dirt on the president, but seeks information that might be used to review Fox News’ editorial decisions. The committee’s letter suggests that Fox News may have violated campaign finance rules if it tried to help Trump by suppressing the Daniels story.
Falzone has said she will cooperate with the committee, despite an agreement with Fox that prevents her from speaking about the story. In an op-ed at Mediaite, LaCorte says he supports Falzone’s desire to talk about the story publicly, but that he will refuse to cooperate with the committee’s effort to exercise oversight over the free press.

If House Oversight can launch an investigation based on the ridiculous notion that publishing, or even more bizarrely not publishing, a story can be construed as an in-kind campaign contribution, then no journalist in America is safe from government intimidation. To be clear, I fully support Fox News lifting Falzone’s non-disclosure agreement so that she can make her case publicly, without leaks or lawyers. But neither editorial decisions nor joke writing should be a subject of government approval.

Picture of Robert Mueller Working With Paul Manafort’s Ukrainian Client Surfaces
Special prosecutor Robert Mueller revealed in June that he had evidence Paul Manafort directed an unregistered lobbying campaign in the U.S. at the behest of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
“Mueller’s team released two memos from 2013 detailing Manafort’s involvement in efforts to influence the debate in Congress and in the U.S. press about the imprisonment of Yanukovych’s main political rival, Yulia Tymoshenko,” Politico reported at the time.
Just months after the memos were issued, then-FBI Director Robert Mueller was meeting with the Ukrainian President to discuss “further cooperation with USA” regarding counterterrorism initiatives.
The Ukrainian Embassy in the U.S. posted another image of the meeting between Mueller and Yanukovych in their fairly muted announcement of the two forging a partnership.
Mueller thanked him for the nation’s assistance following the Boston Marathon bombings.
“I would like to focus on the most important issue for us – the issue of combating terrorism,” Mueller said. “I would like to say thank you for the assistance provided to us after the Boston Marathon.”
“Ukrainian-American cooperation efficiently develops in many spheres of mutual interest,” Yanukovych said in kind. “Your visit is very interesting for Ukraine and relations between our law enforcement bodies have established good traditions of cooperation and communication in the course of 20 years.”
Hmm… It’s easy to speculate just how far that cooperation went and whether or not it benefited Mueller as he’d go on to engage in his current legal battle with Manafort.
Reuters published the photo above in October of 2013, and the Ukrainian leader indicated that he was very close to signing an agreement with the European Union.
“There are some preparations left but I hope that we will fulfill everything and sign the Agreement,” Yanukovych said, though he never followed through.
That agreement, according to the Daily Beast, “was a key focus of Paul Manafort’s lobbying work for Yanukovych.”
Manafort would later be charged with tax evasion and acting as an unregistered foreign agent.
Mueller’s role in the FBI dictates that a meeting with the Ukrainian President to discuss terrorism is perfectly understandable. And Manafort, should he be proven to have worked as an unregistered agent, would have been committing a crime by contrast.
What remains a mystery, however, is how a man like Manafort could promote Yanukovych as Mueller did in this meeting, and in doing so, it amounted to treason.
“The Mueller-Yanukovych meeting didn’t surprise numerous experts on the region,” the Daily Beast reported. “And it has likely benefited Mueller in his investigation.”

Ford to launch 30+ new vehicles for Chinese market
Ford Motor Co. will launch more than 30 new Ford and Lincoln vehicles, including ten new electric cars, for the Chinese market during the next three years, the automaker announced on Wednesday. During its Ford China 2.0 conference, the company also noted that it will strengthen its research and development efforts in the Asia's largest economy through the establishment of three centres and new partnerships focused on local services.
Ford China subsidiary also announced the launch of SYNC+, a new in-vehicle infotainment system for Chinese consumers which is powered by tech giant's Baidu’s artificial intelligence technology, as well as a new management team composed of local talent.
The news comes in the wake of China's slumping car market, and Ford's dismal previous year and a decrease in sales, due to which the automaker focused on improving "operational fitness."

S. Korea to roll out world's first ((([5G network]))) on Friday
SK Telecom Co Ltd. announced on Wednesday it will roll out world's first fifth-generation (5G) network by the end of the work week. The company has built a total of 34,000 units of 5G base stations and will start to provide 5G service in the traffic-concentrated areas of 85 cities.
The purported speed of the 5G network supports up to 2.7Gbps data transmission speed. This would mean that the average download speed in the country with the fastest internet in the world will improve by a factor of at least 20.
The commercial 5G service and wider coverage in the largest cities of the United States are not expected before the end of 2019, even though some provider companies have announced limited rollouts in the next year and a half.

British Press Demolishes ((([PM May]))) Over ‘Another’ Brexit Delay
Many British newspapers are skeptical this morning about the latest white rabbit coming out of Prime Minister Theresa May’s hat. She announced a collaboration with Labor last night to get out of the Brexit impasse, but the prospect of a possibly much softer Brexit or a long delay is not particularly appreciated by the tabloids.
For example, The Sun wonders rather rhetorically whether “is that your bright idea?”
The free newspaper Metro tries with a play on the word and talks about a “brexit sensation”: “It’s jezz the two of us”, a combination of “It’s just the two of us” where the “just” is changed to “jezz”, a variant of Jeremy, the first name of Labor leader Corbyn.
According to Metro, “May gives up hope for support from the Conservative party” and could accept a “super deal”.
With a possible sense of exaggeration, the newspaper points out that this may end up call PM May being called a “Marxist collaborator” as Mr Corbyn has been known to have communist sympathies in the past.
The Daily Express, one of the most avid pro-brexit newspapers that talks about a “crusade to get us out of the EU”, is still fairly neutral for May. “After a marathon session, the prime minister throws down the glove to break the deadlock,” it sounds. “Time for national unity, over to you, Mr. Corbyn.”
But here too it can be read that there will almost certainly be a softer brexit after the prime minister is sitting down “with the far-left Labor leader”.
