No doubt anon. It's a pretty stupid way to capture wind power imo. The cylindrical ones intuitively seem better to me but then, I'm not an engineer.
Anyway, I see a lot of ridiculous schemes to "reduce" carbon emissions, including shipping Lithium ion batteries half way around the world (every five or so years per vehicle), and people flying to attend a climate change conference (!).
I see in London the latest tax is going to be based on older cars being more polluting. OK, I am for reducing pollution, but people will be ditching their 10 year old cars (which probably have another 10 years of life these days) to buy a newly manufactured and shipped car to avoid the tax. Then their old car will be, what, scrapped at zero carbon cost?
The whole thing stinks of a tax grab to me, that and a self promoting industry.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer. It's a curious phenomenon for sure. As far I can tell there are two main issues. Contaminated vaccines (accidental or deliberate), and over vaccination. I saw an anon post a while back that their kid had something like 80 vaccinations by the age of 3. If true, something seems fishy about that.
Recently in Samoa a couple of kids died after receiving vaccinations. That was blamed on improper handling, but the story went a bit quiet after that (like what kind of mishandling renders a vaccine lethal?)
To me, the theory of vaccination seems sound. I think it would be foolish to not vaccinate for mumps, measles, rubella, etc. i.e. the tried and true… But that's just my opinion, I don't cast aspersions on anti-vaxxers these days, there's just too much fuckery in the world.
In my opinion what is needed is for some major global scandal to be exposed about vaccinations followed by an assurance that the system has been cleaned up. I think that's the only thing that could possibly get rid of the FUD now. Taking children by force is just going to reinforce the distrust.
