Regarding end times. There are several prophesies that leave no doubt as to where we are in the stream of time. This one is the simplest.
Revelation 17: 9-10
"“This calls for a mind that has wisdom: The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top. And there are seven kings: Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived; but when he does arrive, he must remain a short while."
So. He is saying there are 7 KINGS
-5 HAVE FALLEN (come and gone)
-1 IS (meaning the one ruling "now" or, at the time John got the vision)
-AND THE OTHER HAS NOT YET ARRIVED BUT WHEN IT DOES IT WILL ONLY BE HERE A SHORT TIME.
-So, the five kings that had already fallen (FIVE HAVE FALLEN) were:
EGYPT
ASSYRIA
BABYLON
MEDO-PERSIA
GREECE
-The one in power when John got the vision (ONE IS) was ROME.
(John the received Revelation vision probably around 96 CE while he was in exile on Patmos under Roman rule)
-That leaves only one left (ONE HAS NOT YET ARRIVED) before the end comes…Who was the next big world power after ROME fell and split up?
-It was the UNITED STATES/UK. (Or the Anglo-American world power)
Thats it. The last one. We are living in the time of the last kingdom.
This is also backed up in Daniel ch 2 and in the King of the North and south in Daniel 11.
And if you want to dig deeper… Daniel tells us
“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever."

So all the kingdoms or governments are going to be done away with and God is going to set up his own.
We also know this…
"Why are the nations agitated And the peoples muttering an empty thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand And high officials gather together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one. They say: “Let us tear off their shackles And throw off their ropes!” The One enthroned in the heavens will laugh; Jehovah will scoff at them. At that time he will speak to them in his anger And terrify them in his burning anger, Saying: “I myself have installed my king On Zion, my holy mountain.”

Which means, if you are aligning yourself WITH a human government at this time, you are aligning yourself AGAINST Gods incoming government. Because ALL the human governments are going to be fighting AGAINST Gods incoming one.
Jesus said to be no part of the world. Just like he told Pilate in John 18:36 ,Jesus answered: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not from this source."
This is what he meant when he prayed in John 17:16
"They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world"
This political firestorm is a distraction from what is really happening! They are ALL going down soon. Not just the Dems, not just whomever you dont like. Or whichever government is not your own. ALL OF THEM!
Satan knows he is already judged and at this point he's just trying to take down as many people as he can with him…
"So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him………. On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time."

This system is not controlled by God. This is Satan's system and it is crashing. It will go down soon.
"We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."

Search for the true God and he will let himself be found by you while there is still time.
"Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, Who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you will be concealed on the day of Jehovah’s anger."
