Somebody did a poor translation of the Hebrew bible and the original

"satan", the-one-who-opposes-you,

became "Satan", the one who opposes you in your struggle to do God's will . . .

I think some Rabbi was just

fuckin' with the brains

of the Goyim who came to him legitimately seeking proper word knowledge.
