See, here's the thing- you talk about deflection, but that's what you're trying to do.
There's a generational responsibility, a covenant if you will, between generations.
Boomers enjoyed the fruits of that covenant, but they did not pass those fruits on.
Obviously, not all Boomers. Some were bang-up parents, some went to Vietnam instead of being little bitch-asses, some went into the workplace and mentored junior partners and tried to set them up for success.
But if you can't admit that there was a large percentage that were shitbirds that lived, and are still living, their lives with no thought about tomorrow, or what's going to come after, we can't have a conversation.
