Recent phrase I've been hearing on Big Pharma's ads: "Do not use _ if you're allergic to __." Sounds very preemptive (lawsuits), because how would a patient KNOW if you're allergic without using it?

This is true. Their way of handling it though (not being upfront while still playing CYA), is disingenuous. Same way that they lied about Oxy not being addictive.
