Guy's right that it's an agenda, but misses the mark in a few ways. If I may offer a few counterpoints-
1.) There's a lot of weirdos that want to fuck kids and not get into trouble. It's an end to itself.
2.) Paving the way for allowing kids to consent to sex establishes them as a more easily enfranchised portion of the population. Kids represent a potential voting block of dependent, easily manipulated voters. Everything lefties love.
3.) This is a population that cannot be exploited for labor in times of military conflict, further dividing rights from accompanying responsibilities, allowing society's general Overton window to be driven further left. Divorced from personal consequences, it's easier to engage in interventionist foreign military and social policy.

Look it up. Most sexual predators are excited by the power they have over others, not the prurient interest in their victims' bodies. The fact that he flaunts his predilections in front of cameras, parents, spouses, etc. clearly demonstrates him getting off on the power differentials.
