I watched an interview where a smart guy, a scientist, said, “Most people are gullible.”
Then he proceeded to parrot a bunch of msm talking points on Trump, completely oblivious to his own hypocrisy.
I’m sure we’ve all seen that over and over.
Most people aren’t actually gullible, when dealing with other normal people. But non sociopaths are bad at seeing through the lies of sociopaths, and even the smartest, savviest people, who are themselves mostly honest, have a hard time grasping what happens when an entire network of sociopaths controls the “commanding heights” of economic and media power for decades.
Normal, honest people find it hard to imagine the mind of even one sociopath, never mind thousands of them.
