Natural born is a child of two natives. Harris citizenship comes from American soil birth law (14th amendment?) which naturalized her. Not natural born IMO.
The intention of the founders was to avoid arranged marriages designed to usurp power. Wanted to avoid what happened in Europe.
Any citizenship laws made by man could possibly be designed to lead to foreign usurpation.
So founders prescribed natural law for POTUS and VPOTUS. Child of two natives on US soil. Don't need any law made by man to determine citizenship. Have to be US citizens since there's nothing else they could be.
I think POTUS made the, "My father was born in Germany", faux pas to bait the MSM into remarking that if it were so he wouldn't be natural born. He was trolling IMO. Issue will be addressed.

Strip away any US citizenship law ever instituted and look at the candidate under that lens. If the candidate would still be a US citizen without any of those laws he/she would be natural born.
Laws naturalize. Natural born doesn't need to be naturalized.
