Ok

I’m going to treat you as an anon with due respect here.

The reason what you are doing is such a horrible idea is this:

1: ANYONE including bad actors can email that account. What happens if someone sends you CP and reports you to the feds? Well you just got caught up in a sting operation through no fault of your own except being a dumbass. You can fight it in court, but do you think newspapers will issue refractions of your name in the articles they will write? Nope. Damage will already be done.

2: If you are not a true anon, What’s stopping anyone from receiving CP from you? Again, through no fault of their own, they are now a part of a CP network. Same arguments apply as above. There are absolutely no guarantees that you wouldn’t do something like that. And any promises made here are hollow.

3: Aside from CP, there are certain paid agitators out there that would love to gather a database of names to expose to the public. You say you encourage people to create their own accounts? Even proton mail is comped. Look it up. Anonymity on the internet is an illusion, but there is no need to make it easier for bad actors to identify people. Think people aren’t making lists of Qanon supporters? Check out numerous hit piece articles on Q where they try and call out / dox Q supporters.

4: As paid agitators go, they will try to incite people to do stupid shit. Earn their trust and twist them to their own agendas. The FBI has been caught multiple times doing exactly this, a few times this even resulted in murders.

Overall, if you were truly anon I can appreciate trying to build a network of trusted friends and individuals, but here and now it is better to remain nameless and faceless.
