That is literally the most moronic thing I have ever heard. Gold has far more value now than ever before, because it is used heavily in many products. Not to mention EVERY major government is buying gold at record pace. They must not agree with your assessment.

What has more real or intrinsic value than gold? Bitcoin? Fiat? Art collections?
