i think Trump saying hr will go back against the trade deal and add tariffs will help him in the china deal. If Trump makes a deal and threatens to pull out he is going to look worse. Someone in his circle needs to muzzle his thought or we are going to ruin china deal, future deals, and Trump will hand dems a victory by backing out of deals he made.
