I worried they may be a threat to anyone coming out. If someone left backpacks there you bet they would take notice, but tents and teddy bears don't look so threatening. Were people staying inside the tents or just the teddy bears setting there? Maybe they are being removed because people will be coming out soon?

Yup, I'm trying not to let their anger become mine. Let them sit there, talk to themselves or each other and stew in their own anguish, it's their problem not mine and I don't need to get sucked into it. Sometimes I slip and have to catch myself but I'm getting much better at just ignoring them.
Your right, it's gotta be damn hard to suddenly see you've been fooled and used, it's gotta be harder to admit you were wrong. I guess some will just reject the truth even though it's right there in front of them and just dig in their heels even more. Sad really because the pain would be a lot less to face the truth then keep going down a path that's just going to leave you in a hole and alone, those they've supported will not care nor be there to support or comfort them. They'd throw them under the bus to save their own ass first if need be, how can you support a group like that? Boggles my mind.
