> If we were to stick to American traditions 100% of the time, we would still have slavery and segregation
Actually Americans were among the first to abolish slavery, fighting a war that, in part, was sparked by that issue.
Many other nations still practice it openly. Nations which do NOT hold that "all men are created equal". That's an American tradition carved into our Declaration of Independence. You ought to give it and the Constitution a good read some day. They aren't long and they don't use many large words where a few small ones will serve just as well. If you are a good reader, you should be able to give both documents an honest reading in an afternoon.
I don't think you are very well schooled on what "American tradition" actually is.
As far as the historical record, history will record that you dogged the President that the American people elected with lies and innuendo every step of the way. His programs are what we voted to support …. not yours. I think you need a bit of introspection to realize that you are merely pitting your ego against his and that we chose his. We need that wall. Rather than concern yourself with his ego, how about you support what that ego is attempting to accomplish? Putting principles ahead of personalities is how we build this nation, not tearing down a man who is putting those principles into concrete form.
Think about it, which of YOUR actions demonstrate the humility that you ask of him? I've read maybe 50 of your attacks on him and I don't see any restraint on your part, any maturity, any recognition that the American people, as a whole, are probably better informed than you, as an individual, are, Ed?
You are not a superior lifeform, Ed. Your opinion means no more to me than mine does to you. You are an attention whore.
