No to both of you. Here is why.

What several states have already done (I think NM, Colorado, CA, many others), is to choose how to determine the electoral votes for their states in a new way.

The US Constitution gives each state a number of electoral votes depending on their total number of people in the US House of Representatives + Senate (2 each).

It is up to the states what they choose to do with the electoral votes that they have been given.

These liberal states are choosing to change the way their electoral votes are decided for THEIR states. They do have the right to do this.

What they are doing is changing (each for their state only) that their own state's electoral votes will no longer be decided by the residents of their states, but rather by the total vote in the entire country.

This can backfire BIG LEAGUE on them.

You see, for example, previously California was always a lock for Demonrats. But now, if we win the popular vote in the entire US, we also win CA's electoral votes, even if inside CA the Dems win.

What they are doing will not have any effect on all of the other states (like Texas) which will still choose their electoral votes based solely on the votes only within Texas. All other states which don't sign up also still are in control of their own electoral votes.

Since Dem states are the only ones doing this, we could end up with a Trump landslide if he wins the popular vote. If not, then we will only lose the Dem states who signed up, which we would have lost anyway.

Those idiots don't know it, but they are helping us, because now a vote in Texas (and all other red states) not only goes for selecting TX electoral votes, but also has an impact on the say in all states who signed up for this, like CA. It is glorious! They are so stupid!

The founding fathers gave each state the right to choose how to pick their own electoral votes.

These states are now choosing their electoral votes in a new way: instead of the old way of choosing their votes based on the vote within their own state, they are now letting the whole country decide the electoral votes within their state, instead of just the people within their state.

They are taking away the absolute power from the people within their own state, and giving it to all of the other states.

Only those states which choose to sign up will have their vote process changed. Those states cannot force any other (RED) state to change. Only themselves.

So, in the future, CA electoral votes will no longer be chosen only by the people of CA, but rather by the whole country.

Texas electoral votes will still only be chosen by the people in Texas.

So, a vote in TX counts for TX and CA (and any other state which signs up), and a vote in CA will not count for anything unless they win the popular vote, and then it will count for CA and only those other states which sign up.

Bottom line: they are turning their liberal states over to us, to let us help them choose. We are turning nothing over to them.

These people are so dumb!

I also agree: remove Tulsi. I have been convinced that she is a Patriot since January 2017.

I don't agree with her on many things, but Patriots are allowed to disagree and both still love the country. She does what she believes to be right. I respect that, even if we have some policy disagreements.

She is NOT evil.

Oh, gotta remove AOC. She isn't old enough to run. Don't give the adversary occasion to speak evil of you. If it goes out that way, people will think we don't know how the government works, and that there is a minimum age for running for President, which she does not meet. Don't let them make fun of us over it.
