Makes you wonder if there is more to the legal challenge than (((they))) are letting on.
Why did POTUS claim his father was born in Germany? A couple of theories, but was it ahead of an article published by 44 today claiming that he is ‘America’s Dad’ and that is daughters still travel with him. Poss 45’s coded narrative: ‘It’s ok for a POTUS to lie about where his Father was born isn’t it? Why not, it’s been done before and no-one worried about it…’ ?
POTUS: ‘I mean Germany is honestly not paying their fare share. I have great respect for Angela and I have great respect for the country, my Father is German, right? Was German, and er born in a, a very wonderful place in Germany and so I have a great feeling for Germany.’
This article claims POTUS has mentioned his Father being born in Germany 4 times:

‘Donald Trump has falsely claimed his father was born in Germany. The US president appeared to confuse his father with his grandfather during a meeting the Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the White House. Mr Trump said he had "great respect" for Angela Merkel and Germany, as he suggested that the European nation should increase its military spending during a televised event.
“My father is German, right, was German,” he added. “And born in a very wonderful place in Germany, and so I have a great feeling for Germany, but they’re not paying what they should be paying.” However, the president's father, Fred Trump, was in fact, born in New York City. Friedrich Trump, his grandfather, was born in Germany before emigrating to the US in 1885 aged 16.
It is not the first time Mr Trump has falsely claimed that his father was born in, or lived in Germany.
At last year's Nato summit in the Belgian capital of Brussels, he said: "I have great respect for Germany. My father is from Germany … Both of my parents are from the EU — despite the fact they don’t treat us well on trade."
Last July during a trip to Scotland, he also told CBS News: “Don’t forget both of my parents were born in EU sectors — my mother was Scotland, my father was Germany.”
In another interview with Fox News Sunday last year, he said: “My parents were born in the European Union.” He added, “I love these countries; Germany, Scotland, they are still in there, right?”’

‘Former president Barack Obama is America’s Dad for a reason. He loves inspirational messages, corny jokes, and yes—the occasional dad sweater. But he’s, of course, an actual dad—and he just revealed that he still can get daughters Sasha (17) and Malia (20) to travel with him…for a hilariously relatable reason. SFGate reports that Obama recently sat down for an interview at the World Travel and Tourism Global Summit in Seville, Spain. When the topic of traveling with his kids came up, he said,
"In some ways traveling with them now is even more precious because one has already left the house, the other is about to leave the house," Obama noted, according to SFGate. "If you can entice them with a nice trip they are going to be spending more time with you…because they [otherwise] can't afford it."
LOL. Way to blow up their spot. The 44th president also shared some of the amazing places they’ve visited as a family.
"The most memorable trips that I've taken have been the ones with the girls," he recalled. "Some of them have been spectacular. Like walking through the Kremlin when I was president. Sasha at seven years old had on a trench coat so she looked like a(n) international spy. That was a great trip because the we went from Russia to Italy. I was there for the G20 but they went to Rome and they were able to meet the pope. Then we went to Ghana, and there was dancing on the tarmac."
This is officially making our hearts melt…and reminding us to ask our parents if they have any vacations coming
