Croatian anon here to update you regarding the ex-PM jail time. It is not such a big news that he got jail time, last time that happened he got sick and the higher court decided he should be tried again (cant remember why but somehow that happened in every case he got jail, always back to trial). What is different this time? The amount of corruption of the current gov is shocking. Scandal after scandal, billions going missing, gov subsidized shipyards collapsing cause of bad managment, ministers driving loaning expensive cars at very low rates, dude who gives those cars gets big loans approved… basically a ton of pressure on the current administration, the People are very unhappy, the prison time is to restore some faith in the court system. He will most likely die or get very sick so he wont be able to do his time. Did I mention that exPM has 4 more big corruption cases?

There are no good guys here, everyone is dirty. I wouldnt even follow our politics if it wasnt so interesting since Trump won, probably a coincidence ;)
