Ever read, I was Hitler's Doctor, by Dr. Kurt Krueger? First print was 1943. Found book in old relative's house. Would be better if written chronologically - sort of all over the place. Escaped Germany, himself threatened. Hitler was introduced to him as Adolf Schicklgruber as a patient. Hitler told him he had the "old French sickness" (syphilis) and had become impotent. Problem was blood tests said Hitler had no syphilis; his real concern turned out to be the impotence. Would post some of it, but says copyrighted.

Says Hitler had three characteristics in his milieu:

  1. Asceticism in food - Vegetarian. Totally eschews meat. Hates meat in all forms.

  1. Indifference to suffering - Not one ounce of remorse for those who suffered, yet for his own misfortunes was moved to tears constantly threatening suicide.

  1. Opportunism in love - (Women)"love" is so unnatural and perverse that it means almost always deadly danger for the woman's soul or her body.

In the Preface

Hitler calls Democracy "an institution which is filthy and untrue," because democracy preaches self-reliance, mental autonomy, and fosters the belief that "the kingdom is within his own neurotic mind thronging with the numerous obsessions of a dying era, and as long as the millions seek redemption in Hitlerism, in a Messiah outside of themselves, humanity is destined to slip back into the jungle, as Bertrand Russell prophesied.
