Checked some more of the most recent french news. Many quote a single witness:
"J’ai entendu un boum, puis je suis sortie et j’ai vu les flammes aux 2e, 3e et 4e étages. C’était affreux, le feu était partout"
Flames on 3 floors is quite curious, probably only after the explosion. Could have started in one apartment though.
Reason will likely only be determined much later than tonight.
Weird though ….
