Good question. POTUS, Q and Mueller hand picked every angry democrat that comprised Mueller's team of investigators. Each had been set up and secretly video recorded by Rosenstein and Mueller as both men reached out and pretended to collude with other Deep State holdovers from the Obama admin still remaining in the DOJ and FBI. At some point in these men's undercover ops they were privy to plots to assassinate POTUS and/or his close family member by these Deep State traitors. With many treasonous plots recorded on video Mueller and Rosenstein were able to get everything they needed "legally" to take down many top dems in the House and nearly all of Obama's former cabinet members.

Sure, a mixed bag for sure. Take Comey for example. If my deciphers and a few assumptions are correct, he was one of the traitors that plotted to assassinate. But Comey is a strange beast. When confronted with the evidence Comey essentially agreed to cooperate in exchange for virtually nothing, i.e. Comey agreed to cooperate completely with the DOJ, plead guilty and be sentenced to death. From all I can tell Comey get's nothing in return for his cooperation but a lethal injection… doesn't really make sense.

Since POTUS and Q had it all anyways, there wasn't really all that much investigation required. All they had to do was to provide each traitor with the opportunity to commit crimes, including treason, and each did. All were confident they could take down POTUS one way or another but the entire time they were plotting it was POTUS, the master conductor, that directed the performance. As Q often says, these people are stupid and indeed, they were.
