Israel put an end to Syria’s alleged nuclear ambitions in 2006 when they bombed the country’s secret site near the Iraqi border.

Dubbed “Operation Orchard” or “Operation Outside the Box”, Israeli F-15 and F-16 warplanes bombed an alleged nuclear site some 30 kilometers outside of Deir Ezzor city in Syria’s eastern region.

While Israel kept this attack quiet for over a decade, they finally broke their silence in March 2017 when they claimed responsibility for the bombing.

According to the Haaretz publication, a former high-ranking Iranian security advisor named General Ali Reza Askari first confirmed the bombing in 2007 after he defected to the United States in 2007.

Iran to place US Army on ‘terror list’ if Washington does the same with Revolutionary Guards

The US Army will land in the company of jihadists on Iran’s list of terrorist organizations, should Washington declare the nation’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist group, Iranian lawmakers warned.

Any US attack against the IRGC will be met with strong “reciprocal measures,” 255 of the 290 Iranian lawmakers said in a statement issued on Sunday, local media reported. The MPs warned that the response will make the “the leaders of America, who themselves are the creators and supporters of the terrorist groups in the region, regret their foolish actions.”

Reports that Washington is preparing to officially designate Iran’s elite military unit as a ‘terrorist organization’ appeared earlier this week.

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, who chairs the national security and foreign affairs committee in the Iranian parliament, explained that, as soon as that happens, the MPs will place the US Army on Iran’s list of terrorist organizations “along with Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIL].” A bill allowing this has already been prepared, he said.

The decades-long conflict between Tehran and Washington reignited last year when President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled the US out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program and re-imposed sanctions on the Islamic republic. Iran blasted the move as illegal and vowed to retaliate.

Cocaine haul emblazoned with ‘CR7’ logo washes up on Romanian coast

A huge haul of cocaine has washed up on the Romania coast bearing the ‘CR7’ moniker used by football star Cristiano Ronaldo, as dealers attempt to cash in on the allure of the iconic Portuguese striker to sell their product.

Romanian police collected 131kg of drugs in Cap Aurora on the Black Sea coast on Friday and Saturday, reportedly from a drug-smuggling boat that capsized in the region at the end of March.

Images of some of the stash reveal it carries the ‘CR7’ branding used by Juventus and Portugal ace Ronaldo, in an apparent attempt by dealers to play on the star’s huge popularity.

Civil Rights Advocates Ring Alarm Over Use of Tear Gas at Yellow Vest Protests

Tear gas has emerged as the weapon of choice for French riot police confronting Yellow Vests protesters, and its use has drawn condemnation from French protesters and human rights organisations alike.

The Montpellier office of the League for Human Rights (LHR) has reportedly addressed concerns over the "massive and prolonged use" of tear gas at Yellow Vests demonstrations to the head of the Herault department, which Montpellier falls under.

The organisation is said to have identified some fifteen cases in which respiratory problems commonly associated with "acute toxicity" were observed.

‘Our army is coming for you’ – LNA forces advance on Tripoli

Forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA) are moving into positions around Tripoli, according to a statement made by LNA spokesman Ahmed Mismari from an undisclosed location on Friday.

Mismari explained that these actions are part of ‘Operation Flood of Dignity’ and said that “the goal of ‘Operation Flood of Dignity’ is the liberation of Tripoli and of all Libya.”

He addressed people living in the Tripoli area, stating that “our army is coming to you in order to save you from terrorists and criminals so that you can live in safety and with dignity.”

He added that five soldiers had died thus far in ‘Flood of Dignity’ which had already moved into the towns of Gharyan and Aziziya in the country’s northwest before closing in on Tripoli’s coastal airport.

Iran’s supreme leader tells Iraq to push US troops out as soon as possible

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned Iraq about the “detrimental” effects of having U.S. forces on its territory and urged its neighbor to get the troops to leave as soon as possible.

In a series of tweets after meeting with visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in Tehran on April 6, the Iranian leader questioned the motives of the United States, saying it opposes Iraq’s “current democratic setting.”

“U.S. military presence in Iraq is detrimental to countries and nations of the region. You should take actions to make the U.S. withdraw its troops from Iraq because wherever they have had enduring presence, forcing them out has become problematic,” he said in the first of five tweets.

Salvini plans rally to unite Europe’s nationalist parties ahead of vote

Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said he would host a major rally of European nationalist and far-right parties to promote a shared political vision ahead of May’s EU parliamentary elections.

Salvini leads the ruling League party and hopes to put together a bloc of like-minded, anti-immigration parties in the European parliament to challenge the traditionally predominant and mainstream centre-left and centre-right groups.

The reporter said that the terrorist groups were trying to sneak into the safe areas and military points in the northern Hama countryside.

The reporter clarified that the terrorists Mahmoud al-khouja, Mahmoud Bakour Jdeia, Talal al-Alewi and Ahamd al-Yousef were identified among the killed.

Orbán vows to stop migration, slams EU leaders

“Our Christian civilisation is at stake in the upcoming European parliamentary election,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at an event presenting the election programme of his ruling Fidesz party.

The European parliamentary election will decide if the European Union has “pro-migration or anti-migration” leaders in the future, whether “Europe continues to belong to the Europeans or to masses from another civilisation; whether we can save our Christian, European culture or give up the ground for multiculturalism,” Orban said in his address.

The prime minister said that “discontent with Europe’s elite is mostly rooted in their treatment of migration”. What Europe is facing is not just a migration crisis but a migration of peoples in the historical sense, he suggested. Europe, he went on to say, could stop massive migration “but it has not even made an attempt; the European Union’s incumbent leaders support and encourage migration.”

Magnitude 5.7 Earthquake Hits Off Chile Coast - USGS

An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred near the coast of Chile, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The aftershocks were recorded at 10.52 UTC, 85 kilometres from the city of San Antonio. The centre of the earthquake lay at a depth of 10 kilometres.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Davidson says: "Today, feminism is the gender ideology of our society. From the universities to the public schools to the media to the military, feminism decides the issues, sets the terms of debate, and intimidates potential opponents into abashed silence."4

Feminism Against the Family

The social institution that feminists have targeted as one of the most repressive to women is the traditional family. By "traditional family" we mean the family structure that developed in Western society under the influence of Christianity and the Bible. In the traditional family, the man is the head of the home and the one responsible for providing those things necessary for the sustenance of life. The woman is a keeper at home and the one primarily responsible for the care of the children. The traditional family thus defined is in line with the Biblical plan for the home.
