To expand on my earlier theory. Though Q's posts most likely carry multiple messages to multiple players, there might have been a thread between Q-team and Edward Snowden running throughout the most recent batch.
Q-Team communicates to Snowden:
Clock Activated.
March 7, 2017:
@Snowden
Extraction operation going live tomorrow (in less than 24 hours/-24).
Q-Team proves they are ready and nearby by releasing pictures of the open market in Hong Kong.
March 8, 2017:
@Snowden
'We kept the promise we made' and
'we can take you anytime'
You have less than 24 hours to reply to us via Twitter.
Indicate by a Tweet @Snowden (on Twitter) that your mission has been completed and indicate preferred course for extraction.
A: Air (by plane)
B: Land (car/train)
or:
C: by Sea (boat)
Within a day – on March 9, 2018
Snowden posts a 'public' and timely confirmation via a [re]Tweet on his Twitter account of a picture of himself alongside a friend who has written, strangely enough:
'I kept my word'
He is pictured holding a model boat, meaning he chose:
Option C: to be extracted at designated port and travel by water
'Watch the water'
Q-Team confirms the plan with Snowden with the post:
We saw your picture – proceed with plan.
24hours to respond.
He did, smartly.
Public view.
