Well done article on the Rothschild’s grip on India:

Amartya Sen is an Indian economist who was awarded the 1998 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to welfare economics and social choice theory and for his interest in the problems of society’s poorest members. While Amartya Senthe is an apostle of poverty, ironically, his wife is a Rothschild.

The Rothschild family has a history of manipulating stock markets, funding world wars, engineering large scale decisions in their favour, exercising significant control over the banking system, and owning large media outlets to influence public opinion in their favour.

The family business of Amartya Sen’s family on wife’s side, NM Rothschild & Sons, is seen as having made tremendous amounts of money during the United Progressive Alliance regime between 2004 and 2014. [The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is a coalition of centre-left political parties in India.

A few months ago, it was determined that Rothschild Bank AG and one of its subsidiaries may have violated money laundering rules in the multi-billion-dollar 1MDB corruption case in Malaysia. This background of Rothschild Bank is combined with the fact that mergers and acquisitions, especially those spanning multiple international jurisdictions, readily lend themselves to allegations of being vehicles for money laundering through arbitrary valuation of the firm being acquired.

Amartya Sen’s recent salvos on India include demands of non-interference in what he calls the “civil society”, which really translates to foreign and foreign-funded non-governmental organisations that actively interfere in Indian politics. He asks for complete freedom for the Reserve Bank of India with no oversight by the Indian people or their democratically elected representatives even as those who control the RBI take instructions from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

There have been plenty of folksey book tours, speaking engagements, special features lately–the Obamas, the Clintons, Valerie Jarrett, FBI/DOJ/CIA officials. A cynical person could assume they are trying to get ahead of a story:

Clinton spoke for about an hour at an event that was part of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and banquet.

Thomas F. "Mack" McLarty served as a moderator of sorts. He was also in that kindergarten class with Clinton and later served as chief of staff in the Clinton White House.

Much of the conversation involved the idyllic small-town childhoods the three men had. Clinton's family moved to Hot Springs shortly after that kindergarten accident, but he went back to Hope often to visit relatives.

"I tell everybody who will listen, I'm the luckiest person in the world because I was born at the end of World War II before television culture," Clinton said. "I was born in a small town where people told stories. … You know, what we had here was gospel singing, square dancing, the county fair and storytelling."

Listening to people's stories humanizes them, Clinton said. No longer are we only Democrats or Republicans, "two-dimensional cartoons," he said.
