Hey, any Bible anons out there have tips on reading the Bible for clearest understanding?

King James Version is hard to understand the meaning sometimes but I'm working on it

Should I start in Genesis and read straight through or is there a chronological order I should follow. Or is it better that I start with the New Testament?
