And let's be certain to conflate reasoned criticism of an apartheid regime (created and maintained by elites' proxies so that the ME will stay destabilized) with hatred of a demographic by absurdly claiming "anti-Zionism is antisemitism". Pompeo is stupid enough to sell that for us.

Meanwhile, we can prosecute informed citizens by ignoring their rights to free association, free speech, and protest by making it illegal to divest of investments tied to that regime - because you can only boycott those you're permitted to boycott. They'll fall in line.

Then let's pretend we can give away a sovereign state's territory because we're pushing revisionist history neglecting to note how that regime instigated the conflict in '67 and stole it.

In fact, why not support all of the elite's proxies? Let's fill the administration with establishment pawns, CFR acolytes, and neocon garbage. Let's dust off and rehabilitate as many Reagan & Bush apologists for the imperium as possible. We can give them jobs pushing the latest and greatest CIA regime change operation. No one will question it. If they do, we'll feed them some bullshit about Reagan being a hero. They're uneducated. They'll buy it.

We can install Koch proxies at the Fed, too. No one will care. How about we get the Heritage lackey who wrote that sycophantic love affair with Bush's policies ("Bullish on Bush")? Perfect.

We can even roll out a well-known Bushite (you know, the 'Anti-Trumpers' not registered as Dems) and former CIA douche to be AG. Remember that pos Barr who covered up Reagan administration crimes to protect SIS & CIA? He'll do a fine job.

Whatever happens, just be certain that fat zealot, Pompeo, gets replaced at CIA with a longtime pawn, like Haspel. If people complain that President Carter did more in one term to clean out CIA, we'll just disingenuously appropriate Kennedy's "splinter it into a thousand pieces" line, and the lemmings will eat it up. No actual work to those ends need be demonstrated. None.

With big thinkers like these in our corner, how can we lose? They've been programmed to believe in 'saviors'. Dont believe me? Watch. I'll quote Bible passages, and they'll think that lends credence to the narrative. They're hopelessly devoid of reason, and easily herded into silos.

Sure, they thought 44's "Hope and Change" ploy was bullshit, but watch what happens when we claim they'll be the recipients of the benefits of 'change'. They'll eat it up, proving propaganda is quite effective, even on supposedly 'antiestablishment' constituencies.

Don't worry. Most of them are actually statists, just waiting for the right actor to come along and sell them all the big-Executive solutions they've been waiting for, and they'll blame the other 'side' for the need to do it. It'll ensure they don't go buying any 'yellow vests' any time soon. We can string this along forever.

"Trust the plan."

Don't feel bad. I consider myself a skeptic, and repeat George Carlin's motto about how "I don't believe anything the government tells me", and I still went for it for a Long time. Longer than I'm proud to admit.

That's how propaganda works. It picks out things we're hopeful for and exploits those sentiments to get folks to gloss over reality, and to make excuses when we see contradictions.

I wish it weren't so, but it appears we've been had. There's no rational explanation for half of what's been done, unless we consider it could have been a plot to placate certain (recently more vocal) constituencies.

Consistent ploy of elites. I should have been more circumspect all along, but the pledge to 'root out' the proxies of the establishment was a hook I just had to bite on.

Lesson learned - again.

When I go to other boards and comment sections I run into people who (obviously) get their 'information' here, and it's not pretty.

A bunch of people with zero education of history outside the approved propaganda pushing falsehoods like 'Reagan was a patriot' and admonishing others for 'not trusting God's plan', getting their asses handed to them daily.

And they're all conspicuously silent when anything contradicts the narrative pushed here. Silent. Clearly heading back here to the silo where dissident thought is reflexively and thoughtlessly labeled the work of 'shills', mimicking exactly what they complain about from corporate media. Only approved lines permitted.

Watch how few folks can muster more than 'traitor' groupthink retorts to rational treatment of the evidence. They're too busy chasing the last drop to pay any meaningful attention. It's sad.
