'Beating Trump would be so easy': Alec Baldwin teases a possible run for president by launching an 'exploratory committee' on Twitter

Alec Baldwin hinted that he may run for president on Monday, declaring on Twitter that 'beating Trump would be so easy'

'If I ran for President, would you vote for me? I won’t ask you for any $. And I promise I will win,' declared Baldwin

He then noted how much easier and cheaper it was to explore a possible run via Twitter, saying the tweets saved him 'millions in polling'

President Trump has yet to comment on his possible running mate, but has made no secret of his disdain for Baldwin in the past

Baldwin is also a frequent critic of Trump and his supporters, saying Friday that a person would have to be 'clinically insane' to think he was a 'qualified leader'

He's running?

The always unpredictable Alec Baldwin might be eyeing a possible run for president it appears, with the actor kicking off the week by announcing his possible candidacy on Twitter.

'If I ran for President, would you vote for me? I won’t ask you for any $. And I promise I will win,' declared Baldwin.

Beating Trump would be so easy. So easy. So easy.'

Baldwin then joked about how cost efficient his exploratory committee was, writing: 'These tweets save me millions in polling.'

President Trump has yet to respond to the news, but it is only a matter of time.

Baldwin did not appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend plating President Trump, but had been featured one week prior after the release of the Mueller Report.

He also took issue with a tweet President Trump posted following a February episode of the popular sketch comedy series.

In that episode, Baldwin and the show's writers mocked a number of the comments President Trump has made about border security.

'Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows?' wrote Trump.

'Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!'

Baldwin then took issue to that tweet and suggested that it could put his family at danger.

'I wonder if a sitting President exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family?' wrote Baldwin.
