I have said that myself. Not only is it an ancient glyph that is also used to mark the flow of energy at nodes of Ley Lines, the spiral is also one of the 15 most common phosphenes.
Symbols should always be interpreted in context of their use. The pedos didn't create the spiral, the usurped it. Same with the rainbow. Same with the pyramid.
